Tonja Winekauf, ARNP

Tonja Winekauf, MSN, ARNP-C, currently serves in the Iowa Air National Guard as Lieutenant Colonel. She was also in the Army Reserves. She says this background and experience helps her better serve her patients.

“It helps me to connect more quickly to those who have served and those who are currently serving,” she said. “Military medicine is unique in itself and I am able to recognize the needs of those individuals and adjust the plan of care to suit their military needs.”

“It is vitally important we recognize the diverse needs that these men, women and their families face. It’s also important to know how their experiences have affected their overall health and created unique health care needs.”

Tonja is excited to provide you with exceptional, personalized care. In her free time, Tonja is active in the Siouxland community including organizations like Siouxland Leadership, Iowa Genealogy, the Iowa National Guard, and is a Siouxland Sharks Board Member.
