Teresa A Muller, ARNP

I have been caring for people almost 75% of my life and have never desired to do anything different. I started at 16, working as a nurse aide in a nursing home. I attended St. Luke's School of Nursing to become a registered nurse and returned to work in long-term care, then oncology. A pivotal moment occurred when a nurse practitioner came to work at the clinic. This inspired me to further my education to provide care as a nurse practitioner.

To achieve that goal, I worked full time while obtaining my bachelor’s degree and master’s in nursing as a nurse practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha. In 2006, I joined Cardiovascular Associates. I briefly left to try a different venture before realizing that my passion was in cardiology. Upon my return, it felt like coming home. Recently, I have had the opportunity to focus more on patients with heart failure while continuing to see patients with other cardiovascular concerns and problems.
